April 6, 2025, marked the 10th anniversary of Hayman Microfinance’s presence in Myanmar—a significant milestone in our journey. While this date represents a decade of growth and commitment, it also coincided with a period of deep sorrow following the recent earthquake that affected many communities across the country.
In light of this tragedy, Hayman made a collective decision to forego celebratory anniversary events and instead focus our efforts on providing support and assistance to employees and members who were impacted by the earthquake.
Beginning on April 7, Hayman Microfinance’s Head Office team organized emergency relief funds, combining contributions from management and staff members. Our team personally visited branch offices in affected areas to provide encouragement, essential assistance, and necessary relief supplies to impacted employees.
At the same time, Hayman continues to arrange and extend support for affected members, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.
On this meaningful occasion, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to every Hayman team member who has contributed their dedication and efforts throughout our 10-year journey. We also extend our sincere prayers and well wishes to the people of Myanmar, hoping for safety, resilience, and a peaceful, brighter future for all. π
